Are You a renter or a home owner?
During a cable installation, our
technicians may need to drill holes in interior or
exterior walls, feed cable through walls, attach cable
to baseboards, etc. A homeowner can give permission for
these types of modifications. A renter may need to get
authorization from the homeowner before these kinds of
changes are made.
Are outlets or wires already in
place for all the TVs that you want to hook up?
If you can, please let us know if
there are cable connections already in place where you
want them. This will allow our technicians to better
serve you during your installation.
Will you require our technician to
connect your VCR to our cable service?
If you don't have a VCR, just check
'No.'
If you would like to be able to record
programs with your VCR then you may like us to connect
your VCR for you. If you decide that you would like us
to do it later, there might be a charge for our
technicians to visit your home. Check 'Yes' if you
would like to take advantage of this free service.
Are your cable outlets
accessible? (TVs pulled away from walls, etc)
We ask this question for two reasons:
- It's a reminder to you that you
should do whatever you can to give our technicians
access to your television set(s) and any existing
cable wires or outlets. If you can anticipate where
our technicians might need to go to bring cable
service to the locations you choose, and prepare
those locations for them to do their work, you will
speed up the process and be able to watch Flamingo
TV Cable that much sooner!
- If you need help to make your
televisions and cable outlets accessible or their
desired locations accessible, we need to know in
advance so we can schedule our technicians' time
accordingly.
Are you a Flamingo TV Cable
subscriber?
By letting us know if you are already
a Flamingo TV subscriber, you enable us to have the
appropriate paperwork prepared in advance for you on the
day of installation.
Computer model
If you are having Flamingo TV
High-Speed Internet installed, our technicians need to
know your computer model (IBM PC or Apple MAC) so they
are properly prepared when they arrive on site.
Laptop/Portable (A network card must
be provided)
If you have a laptop computer you must
provide your own PCM/CIA card in order to have
High-Speed Internet properly installed.
Operating System
Flamingo TV High-Speed Internet has
some basic minimum system requirements that need to be
met for our product to be installed on your computer.
If your computer has any one of the listed operating
systems, you will be able to successfully install
Flamingo TV High-Speed Internet.
